Project Description

Zuzanna Zielińska

I am less concerned about women’s rights in the church as such and more  generally about those who are marginalized – women, children, LGBTQ.

I am 33, a married mother of two boys. We live in Poland, in the metropolitan area of Gdańsk.

We are currently looking for our place in the local community where we would fit in with little children messing around. For the time being we participate in the Dominicans’ spiritual group for families.

I am less concerned about women rights in the church as such and more  generally about those who are marginalized – women, children, LGBTQ.

There’s a quote associated with the first polish social policy minister, Jacek Kuroń, a man of a great compassion: “You should always stand side by side with the ones that are beaten”. That’s my attitude I guess.

I have some ecumenical and international spiritual experience (I’m close to the Community Chenin Neuf and spiritual renewal) and I hold a canonical mission for the fertility awareness methods.

I seek a sense of community and inclusiveness in the Catholic Women Speak group as well as inspiration towards what can be thought and done in terms of empowerment and fighting back in the church.
